Millat Tractors Ltd.

Today was way different. The group went as a whole. V had a back, and it was good to have Fiza's viral confidence and effectiveness, complementing my LOGIC, J bhai's FOCUS, and Waqas's SERIOUSNESS. So sharp at 9, v hit the GM Finance's office. V were subtle.Presented our charts, discussed our approach, highlighted our questions and stated our objectives. He was impressed, I guess so, or atleast hope so. V got to the relevant depts. and set to work. Things turned out to be intriguing.I had to do what in audit jargon is called 're-flowcharting'. The greatest thing was that I got so immersed in the work, that I even forgot 'THAT'! I simply forgot THAT completely.was such a relief to be relieved of THOSE thoughts. so work really gets ur mind of all SUCH memories and soothes u. It did so to me today.
At 12, v were in the waiting room, all dun with our work.changes were significant, but v managed very well, thanks to ALLAH. It was a great learning, and I learnt that I can live wid contentment, if I have immense 'work related' thinking to occupy my mind.................................................................................................else I just wander into the wilderness.

Saturdays-revising the thoughts.

Saturdays are cool. Having gone through all the in-sensibilities of a week, its da day, when 12 hours of soltitude, provide the opportunity to 'think straight' again. Its the time to realize the 'wanderings', the 'silly aspects', and every aspect 'un-reasonable', which shudnt have been there. Its a great period.things begin slowly, momentum builds up, mind gears to complete understanding, plans solidify themselves, and the lock is put into place perfectly for the trigger to be pushed and the bullet to be thrust towards the target.
The good thing is that I created a whole chart for assumed debtors, and a way to deal wid dem, all by myself.

Over the years

Over the years life has taught a lot. Rather better put, in a single year, it has altered the thought process significantly. In finance the par value may not matter and face value is all that counts. But Finance is different from Life. In Life 'face value' is the most 'un-trustworthy' variable.Trust anything except the 'face value' of people and things. That the best at face-value may be the worst at par, and vice versa. But outcomes have been good too. Continue failing I may, as is human, but atleast there is a hole showing the light radiating from the right path, where there was utter darkness and a 'soul-less' search once.First the soul was asleep, now the soul has awoken, and weak however it may be, but it knows wts the fight about; its about 'soul' itself.

And in the midst of all the philosophical and spirital soul searching there stands AJ with a stick in one hand and a carrot in the other. There is a big 'F' on all the 'pathetic' flowcharts, and everywhere one sees, there are people cursing and crying. But as the pill is bitter they say, so maybe the worth of going deep into 'assumed debtors', 'more documentation of flow charts', 'spare parts', and as AJ calls 'a lot more', may also dawn its worth later in life. Sometimes the future frightens but then the confidence in intellect rises to meet the nightmares. Life will definitely rise like the waves to meet and appraise my preparation, but in the midst of all the best things would be to stick to standards and to keep up the fight for His Sake, and to never give up.

OUR SINS? CATASTROPHE, FLOODS, OUR FUTURE? THE CASUES, THE RESULTS...............THE WORLD IS A MOUNTAIN, EVERY ACTION ECHOES BC

More than 2 core people have been displaced. Floods are wreaking havoc. Disease has been spreading like anything. UN has just been able to get hold of $160 million dollars of aid. The trust deficit is severe and the international community is ‘frightened’ out of its wits as to the proper use of the money for development. Three rivers have been overflowed to a devastating level, water levels going up from 3 to 6 to 9 and now above 10 and 11 lacs cusecs, carrying forward the impact on and on towards more cities, towns and villages. It’s like a rampage without a stop. A UN report in 2007 issued a map that in three years time Pakistan would be flooded in a way that thousands of acres of land would be cut off from the rest of the country. The map exactly resembles the current scenario. Thousands of tones of grain has been lost in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa.
Everybody is blaming everybody else. Infrastructure has collapsed. On media, news anchors are highlighting heart wrenching scenes and time and again are showing people cursing their fate and the ‘government’. The picture being presented through the electronic media is extremely gloomy in the sense that it fails to delve deeper into the causes of this catastrophe. The country has, it is obvious to see, failed to ‘carry’ on. It would not now be ‘too’ wrong to call it a failed state.
But Why? The Cause?
The media may call it ‘pessimism’. The ‘seculars’ may call it a conclusion too ‘idiotic’. The masses may try to shy away from it and close their eyes. The elite may try not to think of it and wait for the storm to abate. The government may attempt to depict it as a ‘natural consequence’ of heavy rains, and yes ‘scientifically’ speaking the cause may be associated with the heavy monsoon and the over flowing rivers, there being too many of them in the country. Still why us? Why Pakistan?
The answer is simple, if we but look closer. It’s our SINS I believe. Every worst form of Sin has been engulfing our nation. Cheating, Fraud, Corruption, Hatred, Leg pulling, Back biting, Money laundering, Lies, Distortion of Truth, Distrust, Envy, Indecency, non-seriousness towards life, Immorality, we as a people have made a ‘mockery’ of the life gifted to us by God Himself. We have broken and battered the BALANCE created in our lives by Him. A mind may think that why still us. Other nations too are immersed deep in vices. They are, and economic crisis, disrupted social lives, etc etc are punishing them as well, but believe me, we as a nation have been far worse in our vices. We take life as a joke and do not possess even an ounce of humanity and ‘understanding’ of life, compared to the Westerners and other nations. Our hobby always has been and still is, blaming others. Allah cannot allow us to keep us carrying on with our lives as animals and hence I believe the punishment.
The media at present is presenting a picture of strange feelings. They say there has been a natural disaster and that we should all come out of our homes to help the nation. The feeling they are creating is a bit wrong. It’s more important a responsibility of the media to now make the people of the country realize the folly of their sins, and guide them towards repentance with the love for Truth in their hearts and a true desire for the change for ‘good’.
And I believe hope is not all lost, and never will be, as He says that His Mercy comes over His Wrath. We, every one amongst us, needs to repent, criticize one self, start hating in own self what we hate in others, and yes then come out of our homes to help our brothers and sisters in this hour of need and stand united with them for the love of Allah and His laws. Once we have developed this desire to stand firm for His laws, then there is no harming us by causes natural and unnatural. We need to change ourselves from WITHIN I believe, and come out of our lives of illusions and fantasies. Hatred we have to extinguish for all our ‘destruction’ is a result of our own doing.
“GOD DOES NOT CHANGE THE CONDITION OF A PEOPLE UNLESS THEY FIRST CHANGE THAT WHICH IS IN THEIR HEARTS” (Q, 13:12.)
“Man shall have nothing but what he strives for”. Q 53:40.
“AND WHATEVER SUFFERING YE SUFFER, IT IS WHAT YOUR HANDS HAVE WROUGHT”. (Q, 42:29)
Many also think that why then are the poor and already distressed suffering when they have little hand in the evil around. They too have a big hand, mind me, every one of us, including myself, is involved in this hegemony and acquiescence of SIN at the NATIONAL LEVEL. We remain silent and allow the SIN to prosper and thrive and therefore we too suffer. May we see reason. Ameen.
Prophet said- “ HAPPY ARE THOSE WHOSE OWN FAULTS PRE-OCCUPY THEM TOO MUCH TO THINK OF THE FAULTS OF OTHERS”, He also said’ “ DO NOT COMMIT YOURSELVES TO LENGTHY DISCUSSIONS OF RELIGION- SUCH TALK ONLY SUCCEEDS IN MAKING RELIGION A COMPLEX AND CONFUSED MATTER. GOD HAS MADE RELIGION EASY AND SIMPLE’. HE SAID, “THE FIRST STAGE OF WORSHIP IS SILENCE”. HE SAID- “THE MOST IGNORANT AMONGST YOU IS THE ONE WHO DOES NOT LEARN FROM THE CHANGES IN THE WORLD.”
AND FINALLY HE PRAYED-“OH GOD, BRING PEACEFULLNESS AMONGST US, BRING UNITY INTO OUR HEARTS:GUIDE US TO EQUILIBRIUM, TAKE US FROM DARKNESS AND AWAY FROM UGLINESS; BLESS OUR EARS, OUR HEARTS, AND OUR FAMILIES; ACCEPT OUR REPENTANCE.”
All is still not lost. By being proactive, honest, and by electing ‘pious’, ‘virtuous’ and ‘diligent’ leaders we could have avoided this catastrophe. We could have had dams built, have had investments in the right areas, have had faith, have had confidence in ourselves, and in Allah, and in with His help and with the Will to be just in our affairs and fight off all the mishaps we could have avoided it. Still we can fight it off, the change will have to begin in our hearts………………………………………………………………………………………..

ME and Great Britain

Great Britain has ceratinly been too shrewd at exploiting the people and resources of the ME for the last two centuries, thus methodically restraining the area to sheer mental, economic and military poverty and rendering it incapable to be of any rightful resistance towards the unrightful occupation of land by Israel.
The Jordanians, Egyptians, Sudanese, Saudis, etc have, time after time recieved the full benevolance from, at first G.Britain and now USA, with the prime objective of internally weakening the ME by keeping the Arabs ignorant of their plight mainly by capitalising on the luxurious and greedy life styles of the Arab elite.

The big game

The events relevent to the big game have always been occupying my mind since the last few months.By big game, I refer to the current series of politically complex chain of events taking place in the area engulfing Pakistan-Afghanistan and a part of Central Asia.
Currently I am confused about one thing regarding the nature of reaction that must be carried out by us as the citizens of a country in severe danger. one, should we start improving our moral lives individually to wait for a long run effetive impact on our problems or should we outrightly initiate anything the sort of a movement to recapture our dignity.while the first option appears too inefficient, the second one appears too ineffective and hasty.
