SAARC Simulation Exercise

My experience at the First SAARC Simulation exercise was really great. As the Water, Power and Energy Minister for Nepal, I realised that cooperation of all SAARC countries in not only the field of energy, but in all fields can lead this region to become the most developed once again. We have the potential; we just need cooperation.

MY LIFE

I was thinking today about the real meaning of life. i.e Well yes I am materially quite satisfied with my life. I have, thanks to God got everything important in life. Im good at studies, get most things done according to my wishes but is that the real meaning of life.Attending classes, getting assignments done, enjoying with friends- Is this what we are here for? Im still confused by the question that why are we here, why am I here?

WHY THE 7 HABITS

I had been wondering that why has Mr Mannan been stressing so long on us to grasp the actual reasoning behind Covey's book and apply it to our life.
NOW IV GOT IT.

Sir Mannan, in fact wants us to stand apart, to get a step out of our routine lifestyles and do something DIFFERENT- something which can make us stand out from the others around us, something which may help us land someday at Stanford, Harvard or Berkely and sthng that can lead us to create a big difference in other peoples' lives one day. To be true, the PROACTIVE attitude or the mindset this course is creating in me is sthing I may never have achieved otherwise.

THE 7 HABITS

Proactive- Many people dont bother to use the dustbins here at fc; I mostly am a part of this group and have often thought that there is no point in walking a long way and using a bin. Today, however, I applied proactivity and walked a long way off to throw my disposable cup in a bin and really that has given me immense satisfaction.

Begin with the end in mind- I just applied this in my chem lab. Previously I have been completing practicals quite mechanically, in the last class, however reasoned over the end result of an oxi-red reaction and not only did I get more accurate readings but enjoyed my work.

Put First Things First- I have mostly given up everything in favour of my academics. This semester I am planning to give more time to clubs I have joined and miss a few classes for attending the preparation session for a competition being held in KHI to represent Fc. GPA is important, but practical learning is , I think the thing that counts in the end, I AM SEEING THINGS DIFFERENTLY........

Marketing Class

Today's class was an interactive experience. However our group didnt get a chance to clearly present the stuff we knew. Things got really mixed up with 2 groups going after the same topic.

Proactive behaviour

Proactivity- a lesson learnt recently led me to volunteer and get selected as a representative for fc at a saarc competition being held in karachi.
